Our Services

Our firm handles all criminal matters including all misdemeanor and felony charges in state and federal courts. We represent adults and juveniles. In addition to handling all criminal charges, we provide representation for people who are under investigation for criminal activity, charged with a probation violation, or charged with a parole violation.

State Charges

Federal Charges

We handle all federal charges. Attorney Gavin P. Holihan has extensive experience with state and federal cases, including trial experience in state and federal courts. Having an attorney who understands the different sentencing structures, including mandatory minimum sentences and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, is crucial if you are charged with a federal crime.

Federal charges involve a wide range of alleged criminal conduct, but drug charges, gun crimes, and white collar crimes are frequently the subject of federal charges. Mr. Holihan has extensive experience in handling white collar crimes, gun crimes, and drug charges.

Juvenile Charges

Expungements

We help people seek an expungement of their criminal record. You have a decent chance of obtaining an expungement if your underlying offense was in juvenile court and you have had no further problems with the law, or if you were involved in ARD. Protection from Abuse Orders

Protection From Abuse orders are separate and distinct from criminal law in Pennsylvania. They are similar to a restraining order. If you need help in filing for a protection from abuse order, contact the Law Offices of Gavin P. Holihan, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. We also represent people who have had a Protection From Abuse Order filed against them. A protection from abuse order can be put in place for three years and can affect your contact with a spouse, and children. It can also cause significant problems for your employment and create a risk of jail time if not taken seriously enough.

Child Abuse Investigations

If the Office of Children and Youth or Child Protective Services is investigating you or a loved one for suspicion of child abuse, our office can help. We represent people who are being investigated due to allegations or concerns about child abuse. Although child abuse can result in criminal charges, child abuse investigations conducted by the Office of Children and Youth or Child Protective Services are a civil matter.
